What do you do?

I oversee integrated online and offline fundraising team, programs and strategies. This includes our donor audiences under $10,000, such as mid-level and sustaining donors, and P2P fundraisers.

Who or what inspires you in your fundraising career?

Joe Manes from ABD Direct, who hired me into the fundraising world and is the funniest person I know;

Julie Hambuchen who first hired me at Mercy Corpsand is my mentor – she is the reason I came to love fundraising; and my current boss, Cinira Baldi at Project HOPE, who I’ve worked with at two orgs now and is the best leader and mentor I could ask for.

What originally got you interested in focusing on mid-level giving?

I always knew how valuable this audience was when working at Mercy Corps, because they were so pivotal to the direct mail program I managed at the time.

Then I got promoted and took on the mid-level program and I realized just how vital Mid-level donors are to all of fundraising as well as in donor advancement overall.

What new food or hobby have you enjoyed during the pandemic?

Playing video games with my 7 year old daughter!
